Sarah Juliet Nyaboch Omaya is an experienced Senior HR Professional, with Strong Expertise in Strategic HR Business Partnership, Rewards Management, Change Management, Performance management as well as project leadership. Over the course of her career Sarah has overseen HR, training & development, and recruitment teams, managing upwards of 3,000+ FTEs.
Sarah’s HR Career spans over 13 years, distinguished by commended performance and proven results in various sectors such as The Public sector, Security & Safety, Manufacturing, and Industrial sectors. Sarah has worked with industry leaders in Conferencing sector – Meetings, Incentive travel Conferences & Exhibitions; MICE (The KICC- Africa’s Premier Meeting Destination), industry leaders in Security (Jeff Hamilton), the East African, industry leader, in providing Water and Energy solutions, Davis & Shirtliff Ltd.
Currently, she works, as the Group Human Resource Manager, at Africa Biosystems Ltd, which is the industry leader in providing Life Science Solutions in East Africa. She has devoted 90 percent of her active employment life to institutional governance, continuous process improvement, and human resource management in the various organizations she has worked in. Apart from direct employment, Sarah has a passion for community-based activities, especially those that transform the livelihoods of the less fortunate and those with special needs in society.
Sarah’s focus has been on institutions with special needs both at the primary and secondary school level where she has offered material support, time, and expertise. Her recent activities have been partnering and supporting community-based learning institutions in the provision of career guidance for the youth as well as mentorship programs. Sarah is also a believer and a mother of one.
